About Me

Hi!
My name is Sonia, I like to think that I'm a very open minded person and at first I'm a little bit shy but when it comes to meeting new people I'm very talkative.
I really like to make people laugh and I laugh a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best part of life is gain knowledge and experiences and share what you know with others and what a better way to do that than getting to know people from different cultures. Besides the fact that I love to make new friends from all over the world.

Interests

I sing all the time, even if I know that I'm not a good singer. I enjoy horror movies but every now and then I like to watch romantic and tragic ones (specially if the movie makes me cry).
I'm very interested in travelling and i hope one day i'll do it.
I spend a lot of time watching youtube.
I also like to read, being outdoors, cooking and I want to learn how to play piano, guitar and violin.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is very hard for me to choose just a few artists because my favorites change all the time. At the moment I've been listening to Sam Smith, Rhodes, James Bay, Hozier, Seafret and Birdy.
I also like to listen to music in different languages specially in french, italian and german. I currently love Louane, Andreas Bourani, Marco Mengoni, AnnenMayKantereit, Annalisa, Joris and Mark Forster.
I'm open to recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me, the most amazing thing I've done is to travel to the United States for the first time by myself with no experience speaking the language when i was 18.
I'm very proud of that and actually, it was when I realized that I was capable to do whatever I wanted to do and that there was nothing to be afraid of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to speak spanish :)
I can also share my vegan chocolate cookies recipe.
And I'm always happy to learn something from the people around me.
