About Me

I'm originally from Aruba and have been living in Holland for over 15 years. I have also lived in Bolivia for 2 years, in Portugal 2 years and have spent several months in the US on several occasions. In 2004 my partner and I went traveling around the world for a year, of which we spent 8 months in New Zealand touring the country in a camper van.

I like to explore and discover new things and see beautiful places, which is why I love traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and reciprocate the generosity of strangers met on the road long before CS existed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a van for 8 months and traveled all over New Zealand.
Lived in a small caravan for almost a year (without running water or electricity) in the forest in Portugal, while fixing up a stone ruin - later on the caravan burnt down in a forest fire.
