When traveling I find biggest pleasure in experiencing and walking around rather than sight-seeing or picture taking. I really enjoy having a conversation about books, movies, life and everything else over a pint of beer. In life I like watching movies and reading books. And just keep digging; there is whole world to know.

I love old movies that will never get old. I have seen "Casablanca" so many times that I probably know it by heart (and I am still not bored). I am coming back to "The Great Beauty" since it is the best essay on melancholy I know and which proves to me that there is nothing wrong with feeling nostalgic. I also like slow movies where almost nothing happens ("Only Lovers Left Alive", "Paterson"). My quite new passion is silent movies.

I have far too many books that I adore and re-read from time to time. Is it possible that I was a bookseller in my previous life..?

For me a truly amazing experience was trekking in the Semen Mountains somewhere between rainy and dry seasons, surrounded by a herd of monkeys. And yes, I reached the height of 4000 m ASL!
