About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LIVE THE WORLD, BE A MOVER! AND THINK DIFFERENTLY!

ABOUT ME

First off I want to list MY BIGGEST PASSIONS, something which has strong roots inside me and will never change: MUSIC, ART, LITERATURE, WRITING and TRAVELLING, of course! I like drawing and tattoos as well!
I was an ERASMUS exchange student in Madrid in 2013 and a WOOFER (volunteer on organic farms) in Ireland in 2015.
I consider myself an open-mind person, so that I adore discuss with people that have a different vision of life. I adore explaining my point of view and most of people say thay I have unconventional opinions. As I said, I really love writing, because I can explain the secret sides of my mind and my deepest desires while my hand is slipping on the piece of paper.
And what else? I adore the little pleasures of life, as a sunset, a kiss, a hug, a landscape or just watching the sea sitting on the rocks.
Let's talk about my dearly beloved MUSIC now: it was my first love and it will be my last. Music beats and makes my day. Cannot live without, music should be everywhere! I'm fond of Punk-Rock, Classical Rock, Folk, Ska music, but I listen to many other genres.
I have a background in the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY, so that I'm usually extremely polite with people, patient, respecful and honest. Despite this, I'm not the sweet little lamb that you are thinking about, because I'm also really determined, brave, quite moody (every day could be a funny challenge to have me around Lol!), I can fend for myself and, above all, I am a Punk-Rocker ;)!

PHILOSOPHY

I hate people who are mentally closed and judge the others without knowing them. My personal philosophy is "live and let live", or sometimes "live and let die". I don't care about what people say about me because I'm really determined when I want to conquer something I wish. I hate at all people who talk too much about the others: I guess they have a boring life.
According to me the "social status" is not important and, as Alex Supertramp says in the movie "Into The Wild" -a kind of Holy Bible for passionate travellers like me- the career is just an invention of the XX century. I don't care if you are a manager, a lawyer, a homeless or a cleaner: for me all the people are at the same level, everyone is made of blood, desires, qualities, vices and could have the opportunity to become my friend. The goal in my life is just BEIGN HAPPY and EMANCIPATED from mental slavery ( ;) ). And also TO DO MY BEST TO FOLLOW MY DREAMS AND AMBITIONS. I don't agree with certain obsolete social rules ("You must attend the university!", "You have to get married one day or another!", "Religion says thet you have to do this this and this").
But anyway, I think it's important in our lives to believe in something strong that let us overcome difficulties and bad moments. In my case, I believe with all myself in HUMAN FEELINGS, in EMOTIONS, in FRIENDSHIP and in the EARTH'S FORCES. But above all, I believe in MUSIC. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel it inside myself. That's my religion and in my opinion it must be personal.
One of my favorite mottoes is "What goes around comes around" and it shows my position in relationships: if a person gives me his heart, then would receive my whole heart and I would do anything to help my friends, but if they stab me at my back, I pull out my nails and I may become a cruel woman, in terms of psychological tricks. Revenge is a dish best served cold, isn't it? ;)
According to me, the best way of living is doing more and more experiences and not to be afraid of making mistakes. They make us harder, better, faster and stronger! Yeah!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I can, I'm willing to host people, beacuse a little action could give them an unforgettable and low-cost holiday. If I can't, I'd be glad to accompany them all around my City and show them both turist attractions and secret corners of my city. I sometimes go to Couchsurfing events: it's a nice occasion to meet people with a different culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed yet, but can't wait to try it and share a little piece of my life with someone who has surely something good to give me! We should learn from everyone, guys!
Once I've hosted a Spanish boy from Madrid: he stayed two days in my house. It was funny visiting Como with him, because he let me see my native town in a someone else's view, with the eyes of a foreigner. I think that belonging to a different country and seeing everything from new in a stranger place, with genuine brand new eyes, is something amazing!
I APOLOGIZE FOR ALL THE NON-ANSWERS IN 2015, but I lived in Ireland for a long time and didn't check my e-mail, so sorry about that!
I'm going back to Dublin/Galway in November 2015 and I'm very busy at work in these days, so that I can't host you at the moment, I'm sorry! When I'm settle down in Ireland, I will change the city on my Couchsurfing profile and my home will be your home, bet on it! See you soon!

Interests

My biggest interest is MUSIC and my favorite genres are Melodic Hardcore Punk, Ska and Folk, but I also listen to Classical Rock and the legends who made the history of music!
I play the acoustic and the electric GUITAR and I think they both have a soul: that's why I called one of them "Soulmate". I'd like to play drums too! If there's a drummer between you, I would be glad to learn by you!
I generally prefer Indie bands rather than mainstream. I adore songwriters too.
My second great passion is WRITING: it really makes me feel FREE.
I'm interested in ART (above all Surrealism and Contemporary art): my favorite artists are Salvador Dalì and Tony Oursler. I love LITERATURE and READING BOOKS too. My favourite writer is Stephen King. I'm fond of fantasy, horror, thrillers and sci-fi novels.
I'm interested in HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATIONS, VOLUNTEERING and in the RIGHTS OF THE MINORITIES.
One of the best ways to live is TRAVELLING and discovering the world in all its hidden sides. On of my biggest dreams is traveling all over the world, staying one year in a location and then moving to another one, MAKING A LOT OF FRIENDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
I'm fond of PSYCHOLOGY and the weird working of our brain. I love SOCIOLOGY too.
I like practising FITNESS excercises and I admire everyone who does extreme sports. I never tried it, but I would like to!

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore apocalyptic science-fiction movies that show us utopians and dystopians. Some of my favorite movies are: "The Matrix", "Inception", "Shutter Island", "The Island", "Transformers", "Captain Harlock", "The wave", "The Butterfly Effect", "Memento", "Armageddon", "It", "The Shining", "Donnie Darko" and "Source Code"(I adore brainy movies which has an unclear end!). I like historical movies such as "Goodbye Lenin!", "Pearl Harbor", "Inglourious Basterds", "Schindler's List" and "Life is beautiful", too.
I love adventure movies too and maybe my favourite film ever is "Into The Wild". But my favourite movie ever is the independent "Waking Life", which mixes different themes including lucid-dreams, afterlife, social revolution and many others.
Another movie that reflects my personal Erasmus experience and means everything to me is the french "L'auberge Espagnole". I can't forget to quote legendary movies as "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock'n'Roll High School". There are other many movies that I like, but I don't have time and space to write them all!
Let's talk about music, my reason for living: in my opinion the classics of Rock will never fade away and each song is sempiternal. I adore Pink Floyd, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Queen, Dire Straits, Who, Kiss, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
I'm addicted to Hardcore/Punk/Ska bands as NOFX, Authority Zero, Anti-flag, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Millencolin, Bouncing Souls, No Use For A Name, Distillers, Strung Out, Strike Anywhere, Green Day, Rise Against and Talco
I love Spanish Punk-Rock/Ska bands as Ska-P, Bongo Botrako, La Pegatina, Kaotiko, The Locos and No Relax.
I Like italian Alternative Rock bands as Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica, Vintage Violence, The Zen Circus, Afterhours, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, 1000 Degrees, Io?Drama, NH3 and Los Fastidios. I like italian songwriters as Fabrizio De Andrè, Dente and the folk band Modena City Ramblers.
I also like (few) mainstream rockbands such as Nirvana (I adore Kurt Cobain's voice!!!)and Guns'n'Roses.
Some months ago I discovered the Drum&Bass and I quickly fell in love with it: I don't know it very well, but I feel so good when I listed bands as Pendulum with the volume turned up so loud!
It may seem strange, but I like Classical music too, especially Beethoven and Vivaldi.
My favorite book is "It" by Stephen King and he's my favourite author. Another one that I like is "Twice Born" by Margaret Mazzantini and she's my female favorite writer. It's a novel placed in Sarajevo of 1992-1994 and it's a raw story of war, passion and a strong desire of a woman to get pregnant. I suggest it to everyone, in particular to brave women.
I'm crazy about Baudelaire, Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Bukowski: I have a similar point of view about life.
I also like "The kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini and "Qualcuno con cui correre" by David Grossman. Don't be surprised, but I also like "The sorrows of young Werther" from Goethe and "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger.
