ABOUT ME

I'd consider myself curious, open-minded, nature-loving. I've left Germany nine years ago to live in South Africa, experienced some interesting and tough times finding my feet, and work now happily as a tourist guide. My passions are horses and long rides in nature, yoga, cooking and hosting, and all sorts of adventurous activities (motorbikes, scuba diving, sky diving). I enjoy reading, movies, dancing, open conversations and getting to bed early to be awake before sunrise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was hosting when I was still living in Germany, currently I'm not able to host due to my work as a tourist guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I started traveling there was no www existing, so CS was only by recommendations of friends of friends... On my very first trip, - I was going to Stockholm - my friend and I were hitch-hiking and we arrived at 2 a.m. and did not want to bother our host - so we spent our first night in a truck. Everything was fine but we didn't tell our parents...
