New to this site as a friend recommended it to me but have yet been able to try it out. As I set off on this adventure it seemed like the perfect time to try it out.

How do you sum up a life on a single page? If I could do that, then I think both you and I would be disappointed. I am many things and a constant contraction. I like summer but love layering clothes and big coats, I want a home of my own with white washed floors but get restless and cant stay in one place too long, I love pizza but I also want to look good in my bikini.

I like to describe myself as a citizen of the world — with no permanent address at the moment. I traded everything for adventure. I live my life out of backpack and galavant around the world to do all those things I always wanted to do (and write them down to try to make sense of it all).

I like to think of myself as a storyteller, and I do many things for the stories (such as move to Italy on a whim, get a guy I met on a dating app to pick up a sofa I bought on Ebay and pretend to be a Swedish celebrity to skip lines amongst others). I am fascinated by people and love hearing their stories and learning about their ways of living.

I also love quotes and I have a quote for basically every situation. Like this one:

I got taken over by wanderlust at a very early age and never stopped wandering. I have moved 14 times (and counting) and travelled extensively throughout my life and through that have gathered some life lessons.

Recently took my job on the road and decided to leave London after seven wonderful years in order to go do all those things I always wanted to do. Like learn Italian, live on a Caribbean island and go to practice my surfing. While London was an amazing place, I always had an itch so give it all up and travel the world, so I did!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling solo and I believe a big part of traveling is meeting locals who can show you the true side of a place as well as turning strangers into friends and meet people I would have never met before. Traveling is all about the people that make up a place and what better way to get to know them than by stay with them.

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and sharing mine.
