About Me

Hey guys! I'm Sonja, recently moved to München and busy settling in here. I like to meet new people who like to tell me stories about their lives, which also has to do with my job as a psychologist. I'm pretty straight forward and curious and I like laughing, especially about nasty jokes. I've had various CS experience, would love to have a revival. Hopefully see you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the open mindedness and kindness of the real CSers. You can have the funniest time and so many surprises.

Interests

I've been playing the piano for a long time (now only pop music like Yann Tiersen etc), like to dance (hiphop, Latin), go to the cinema, swimming, cooking, learning anything about culture and languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Indie Pop/Rock (Marina and the Diamonds, Eels, Muse, Florence + the Machine), German Hiphop (KIZ, Alligatoah, Fettes Brot, Samy Deluxe), Old School Hiphop

Movies: Tarantino, Tim Burton, Woody Allen, the Million Dollar Hotel, the Dark Knight, Grand Budapest Hotel, Prestige, and too many others..

Books: Lord of the Rings, the Reader, Dark Side of the Moon, Becks letzter Sommer, Tschick, the Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfed the "couch" of a girl in Lithuania. It was the greatest experience, she gave us a whole beautiful room for ourselves, made pasta for us and took us sight seeing the whole day to see the old ruins of her town. It was such a nice stay:)
Hiking on one of the holy mountains in China, Huang Shan. Every peak has it's own creative name such as "Monkey looking at the sea".
Staying in Cape Town, to me the most beautiful city in this world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some chords on the piano and how to cook. Would like to learn more Arabic and some historical knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My room, sofa, balcony. Facts about my city and some nice places.
