Hello! I'm Sonja from Finland...well you probably figured that out already..Anyway I've been traveling for almost a year now and ended up in Australia in May. I'm a chilled out down to earth kinda girl who enjoys the little things in life. I like arts and crafts, going to festivals and gigs or pretty much any kind of thing that involves music. Unfortunately i don't play any instrument and I'm a terrible singer but a very good listener! I like going to the movies, sometimes i do a bit of yoga, i love animals and I also like to cook a bit.

Best thing in life is to have a few drinks with new friends and talk about life and share amazing stories. I believe in karma and I believe that some people are just meant to pass each other's lives even if it just for a short moment.

Like to party and go out but I also enjoy staying at home watching movies or reading a good book!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´ve travelled a while and I've noticed that you tend to miss out on the really good spots and best things to do if you don't have a local giving you the best tips. I'm not looking for my own personal tourguide but I'm eager to meet real interesting people and have a good time. And also a place where i can sleep of course.

Been on couchsurfing since 2012 but never actually needed to use it or been able to host. So yes I'm a newbie but don't be scared! I'm a nice person!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job to make my dream come true and travel for as long as possible or as long as i want! Left Finland in January and couldn't be happier! I also took a 10 day meditation retreat in Thailand.
