CURRENT MISSION
Be present and be happy
ABOUT ME
My friends would say I'm outgoing, cheerful, I like to travel, I like sports. I'm sort of a nerd in school and always try to do my best at every task I take on. I love meeting people from different cultures and learning about other parts of the world and different languages. My favourite place to be is out hiking or camping in the mountains.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still trying to figure out my personal philosophy on life but in the meantime I'm just filling my life with as many experiences and memories as I can and trying to be open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the winter of 2014 I went on a 3-week backpacking trip mainly using couch surfing. I haven't hosted yet but I'm not currently living somewhere that I could host anyone, although I would like to at some point in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed in Europe and a little bit in New Zealand, and looking forward to further couchsurfing experiences.
Interests
Traveling and adventure really get me going. But when I'm not traveling, I love learning languages (I speak English and French but I'm doing my best to learn Spanish and German too), reading, hanging out with friends, running, and in general just being outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love comedies and 'chick flicks', but well-done action or animated movies are also in my collection. My favourite band is Coldplay, and I love fantasy and adventure books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving! One of the coolest feelings I've ever experienced. I did it near Prague, Czech Republic in mid October of 2013 with some friends, and I must say I can't wait to do it again, despite how terrifying it was when my tandem partner hurled us out of the plane at 4000m.
Another amazing thing I've done was working in the Swiss Alps for 2 months doing a wildlife biology internship in the winter of 2010/11. Exploring those beautiful and majestic mountains was an experience I'll treasure forever!
