ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
My name is Sonja. I am from Austria and came to Australia to live in Brisbane for half a year last December.
I would describe myself as an open-minded, outgoing, uncomplicated person; my friends rate me as a brave girl too, since I decided to travel to - more or less the other end of the world - on my own.
I love hanging out with my friends, going out, spending time in the nature, dancing, sleeping, cooking (my Mum is an excellent cook and I try to learn from her), doing sports, traveling, snowboarding,...

Generally I'm not big on talking about myself, but feel free to ask me whatever you want ;-)

I don't really have one... but I like that quote below somehow. It's from an Alanis Morissette song:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Til now I have met a few girls from CS for a coffee, and I went to one of the CS meetings too - both was good fun!

I had my first CS experience when I travelled to Sydney in March 2011 and it was the best one I could think of! We spent a lot of time together and I would say I really found friends in my hosts and I hope to meet them again sometime!

Since then I couchsurfed in Byron Bay, Airlie Beach,.... definitely to be continued ;-)

I listen to music a lot! I don´t mind walking long distances as long as I got my MP3 Player with me. I normally listen to Reggae, Punk, Rock, Punk Rock, Hip Hop, Ska, R'n'B but I'm always open for something new.

Movies... The last one I really enjoyed was "Inception" - so worth watching!!
Since I started my nanny-being here in Brisbane I got to see heaps of kids-movies due to my job - I can recommend Megamind and Despicable me ^^
My friend introduced me to "The Big Lebowski" which is hilarious!

Just started reading "Shantaram" - that's gonna keep me occupied for quite some time I'd say...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent two days on Moreton Island and I loved it! Such a beautiful place! Especially the North Point of the island with Honeymoon Bay etc was amazing. And not to forget the breathtaking sunset...
