About Me
I’m Sonja, 25 years old and traveling and meeting new people is the reason, why I’m on CS!
I started CS last year, hosted quite a few people in Vienna, Austria, where I‘m from. The last 7 months I was traveling through Europe & Central America. I lived for 4 months in Spain & started learning Spanish there. :)
Now I‘m back home & can’t wait to be an active part of CS again. Because of Covid-19 I had to cancel my big trip to Asia. Therefore I started to settle down in Vienna again. Unfortunately I‘m currently not able to host a lot of people. I moved to a shared apartment & surfers have to sleep on the guest-couch in my room. I’m up for meet ups - I can show you beautiful Vienna or we can go for a drink. Vienna has a beautiful CS community, so don’t hesitate to use it. :)
I believe that everything happens for a reason & that you learn something from every human, you meet in life! I love to listen to life stories and I’m curious about everything! :D
What i have learnt while traveling, is, to trust in humans, because there is so many good in the world & also be brave to try new things. Only with walking new paths, you can win something :)
Two things to know: I’m Vegetarian, so I don’t eat meat, to save the animals & I DON’t use
CS as Tinder, please respect that!
I met already so many great people through CS and I believe that there are many more to come!
See you soon in Vienna or elsewhere in the world :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is my favorite activity. I love to connect with people around the world and learn something about different cultures. I also want to give something back, because I received such great hospitality along my way. I love to listen to other travel stories and I believe that traveling is a really good education about being tolerant towards other cultures and also about my own person.
Interests
As you may see, I spend most of my free time traveling. I don’t need fancy clothes or the newest technical innovations.
I love to have good conversations about different topics. I love to share some wine with friends and just socialize. I love to read good books - if I have time besides my classes, I love to read books about personality development. I love to spend time with my family. I like to try out new things, especially different sports.
Freedom and change is very important in my life. I’m scared to say „that’s the life I want to live the next 10years“ because I have always different ideas and plans what I want to do...
