ABOUT ME

This will sound boring: I'm a student. I'm pretty mixed up culturally, I like a lot of different things.

I've lived in a bunch of different countries - grew up mostly in Singapore, then moved to Norway as a teen, then university in England, a year in the Czech Republic, a couple of months in Denmark, France, then back to Denmark, then Norway... Right now I'm in Japan, and will probably be here for awhile. :)

I'm a constant student, and really enjoy reading and well, learning...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have had the great privilege of surfing couches around France and San Francisco, hope to be able to help out a little now that I'm somewhat 'stable'!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Purely positive!

Music, Movies, and Books

Will keep this brief because listing would be tedious and irrelevant! But, anything interesting/out-of-the worldish/yet significant nonetheless is most appreciated.

Movies:
Big Wes Anderson fan, and lately enjoy anything that is not too pretentious and flashy.

Authors whose works I tend to enjoy:
The list is pretty exhaustive, so I'll skip it. The worst book that I ever (attempted to) read though, was the Lovely Bones. Horrendous. So bad I couldn't finish it but felt compelled to skim through because I usually finish books. Maybe that tells you something about me.

Music:
very specific but very open

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a preschool teacher. I thought I hated kids but they can be pretty amazing. I hoard their art.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy playing around with various things and maybe meeting various people will aid in these varied projects. I enjoy learning new languages and it's always fun trying to speak knowing you're not being understood. I can help you be misunderstood.
