ABOUT ME

I love to laugh. I cant stop dancing and singing everywhere I go. I love to talk and listen too! I've moved across the country and back. I've wanted to travel since I was about 10 and am just beginning to be able to start! I am very good at making friends and keeping them! Music, art, food and animals are the essentials in my life. I have so many interests and projects and hobbies its hard to keep up with them all!
When it's warm and I don't have to work I love to go to the beach and swim, or go to the woods and hike. I'll try just about anything at least once!
I've taken kick boxing, dancing, singing, sewing, welding, carving, knitting, writing, drawing and painting lessons/classes professional or not. No classes in mud wrestling or dirt biking but they were just as important in making me who I am today. I love my family and friends and wouldn't trade my life for the world. I can't wait to make more friends and photograph even more of life!!!

I am German, Norwegian, French, Native American, Russian and English and I love learning about cultures and pasts of different nationalities.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is too short to live in fear. I love to meet people and learn about different folks' experiences, stories and adventures. My adventure has been travel-less thus far but that will change as of September 28th. I believe there is something bigger than we can comprehend and that everything happens for a reason. I do not believe in one religion reigning over all, but respect all people and their beliefs and views as long as they respect mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this but am hoping to utilize in the most active way to find places to sleep throughout my trip to Europe!! Of course when I go home and have an available couch, I would be more than happy to host fellow surfers!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been mostly great. There have been a couple instances where I ended up in a hostel due to certain circumstances, but everything happens for a reason and I love this network none the less!

Interests

Dancing, singing, card & board games. I love to learn! Walking, sitting on the grass, watching the stars. Socializing. I hate debates, so don't start please. Eating is always fun!! I want to travel pretty much everywhere and photograph places, food, people and animals of all types!

Music, Movies, and Books

All type of music and movies. I love them all and can enjoy almost anything. Polka and yodeling are my least favorite types of music and thriller are my least favorite type of movie but I'll indulge in both once in a while! Books, those are tough, if it doesn't grab me in the first couple pages, its going to take a miracle for me to read the rest of it!

I love Jim Carrey, and Jack Nicholson! Comedies and action are probably my favorite!
Music anything I can dance to, sing to, cry to, scream to. I can relate to a lot of music so it just depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done-My family and I built a house when I was 14. We did everything from dig the foundation to shingling the roof and all things in between. The amount of knowledge I gained from that experience is unfathomable and I was able to retain so much of it over the years.
Seen- A moose about 6.5 feet tall walked up my driveway once. It's back was taller than my mom's truck. It was about 13 feet away from our house and once it crossed the threshold into the woods in our backyard, there was no trace that an estimated 1,200 pound wild mammal was lurking just passed the first leaf!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been trained to sing and use my vocal chords in unique ways to achieve certain sounds. I have obtained a good chunk of that knowledge and have so far been able to help a person or two improve their singing capabilities.
I have a bachelor's degree in art, concentration in photography. I can help people understand and use their camera's in an advanced way.
I know a lot about dogs. I have trained many while working in doggy daycares and boarding places.
I can write poems, speeches and songs without much a large amount of time invested...I do not write music however. I can write a song to a beat in my head but putting it into instruments is another story for now...
