My name is Maike, 25 years old and I come from the beautiful city of Hamburg in Germany.
Right now I am in Indonesia doing an internship for 3 months. - Can't wait to travel through SEA afterwards. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a great opportunity to meet lots of people. Besides getting hosted, in Jakarta I've attended lots of weekly CS gatherings which was an awesome chance to get to know the City and the people that live in it. :)

I love the movie One hour photo with Robin Williams as well as Fight Club and Forrest Gump.
I listen to almost every kind of music: from reggae and ska to minimal and hiphop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

30 Elephants crossing the street right in front of me in Namibia. That was amazing.
