Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I miss connecting with strangers. It happened to me a lot overseas - fast friendships, friends become family. I guess because we're all looking for community when we're not local. But it's not the norm here in the US so maybe couchsurfing will remind me how kind humanity can be.
