Overview
About Me
I am an Australian university student backpacking around Europe for a year before I begin my masters. I love travelling and so far am having an amazing time with my first experience of solo travel. I have seen and experienced so much already and have an overwhelming eagerness to see and learn more.
I study environmental science and am incredibly passionate nature and keeping mother earth healthy and beautiful. I love the innovation around zero waste products and do my best to live a low impact lifestyle while travelling. I try to hike as often as I can, and bounce between exploring cities and national parks on my travels.
I try to always be mindful and do my best to incorporate meditation and yoga into my daily routine. This also has helped me with connecting with people and nature, as well as feeling more centred. I still have much to learn about all of this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far my journey has evolved into a wonderful experience of pursuing mindfulness and new ways to be connected with the planet and the people in it. I have really enjoyed staying with and meeting an array of individuals and groups from engineers, builders, musicians, nurses, lawyers and chefs (goes on). Everyone has shown me their world and given me invaluable experiences and wisdom. This is what I seek in my travels! In this knowledge, I hope to discover more about what I can give back in return to balance out the generosity and kindness I have received so far on my journey. Couch surfing is an amazing platform that has allowed me to learn and share what I have learnt and seen of the world with others. The people you meet in your life time can really shape the person you will one day become.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything outdoors, listening to alternative music, art, history and food.
I love to be able to see music performed live. There is something truly incredible about the way that music can effect the body and mind, and experiencing this live is one of my favourite things in the world.
I grew up listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers but love anything from blues, jazz, rock, techno and even dabble in a bit of screamo. There is so much music out there that I am yet to hear!
I mostly read science textbooks, but have recently read a few books by Alan Watts and have my fingers dipped in a few other books along the lines of mindfulness and healthy living.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completed the Camino de Santiago, beginning in Porto, Portugal. It was the most difficult thing I have ever completed, both physically and mentally, but such a worthwhile experience.
I travelled through India at the beginning of 2018, and it helped me become a delegate at the 2018 United Nations Young Leaders conference in Bangkok. Such an honour to be a part of such a huge effort to better the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I grew up on a farm and have since lived on the east coast of Australia for three years so I have plenty of stories and trivia about Australia and it's insane wild life.
I am trying to learn basic German and Spanish so any help I can get would be amazing! As well as new cooking tips and skills.
I particularly love to discover new music and share the music I love also. Sharing music and food are how friends are made!
