Overview
About Me
I love to chat, drink tea or coffee, read books and take long walks. Would love to travel more but don't have much time or opportunity for it now. Completely changed my professional sphere this year, going from teaching English to computer science, and I'm currently focused on changing the way I think and solve problems.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be more prepared for my occasional trips, to have an opportunity to talk with locals, maybe find a place to stay and learn about interesting things to do in places that I visit. Also, the community is fantastic!

Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer pop music (because it's great to dance to) but I also love all songs in French (regardless of what style they are) and sometimes I appreciate classical music.
I watch mostly mainstream movies that appear in cinemas but I love me a good dramatic romantic comedy and my favorite film of all times is When Harry Met Sally.
I like all kinds of books but recently I've been mostly reading non-fiction with occasional sci-fi tucked in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two things:
I volunteered at Sochi Olympics in 2014 - those are still the most *amazing* three weeks of my life.
And took part in an intensive film-making course and we made a short thriller - those have been the most *fun* ten days of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I've found is that with hosts you usually end up talking not about everyday things but mostly philosophy and life in your country and how it differs from the life of your host's. These are among the most precious and fascinating moments I've had. So I think I can share stories, experiences and maybe what little wisdom I've managed to collect so far in my life.
