Hello, I'm Shin from Taiwan. I'm a respectful, curious, open-minded and flexible person. Some of my friends said that there is an old soul deep inside me, under the young appearance. For the love of meeting new people and learning new stuffs.

I join CS as a member since 2010, just right after I read some articles about CS on the internet. I didn't actually start to host other people or trying to crash somebody's couch, due to a tough period of time which I've gone through. After recovery, I am back and wish to be more humble, honest and open-minded than before.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I work in Taipei, I got a shared-apartment with two roommates. There is a futon (sofa bed) which is comfortable for two in the living area, I would love to share it and some other facilities in the house with someone who really need it.
More than those hardware facilities, I want to communicate with other people from different cultures and varied classes. I hope to broaden my vision, enrich my experience by practicing personally and sharing in daily life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be frankly, I only have one CS experience on CS website, and Michael was the first and the kindest one willing to accept a newbie like me. After throwing myself into this big, wonderful family, there's no way to escape now, haha. I'm sure things will keep moving if we are still curious about all this universe and how it works.

I have a wide range of preferences in books. I like to read books about people, design, food, culture, art, science, and travel. I also like poetry, but mostly they're written in Chinese. I enjoy reading books with good typesetting, it doesn't matter it's a fiction and nonfiction.
