ABOUT ME

I currently teach 4th grade at a public school in the Mississippi Delta. I like to keep my classroom neat and tidy and my bedroom disasterously disorganized. My hobbies include: watching college football (go Gators!), frisbee golf, kicking field goals at the nearby high school, rock paper scissors, and nearly any other outdoor activity I can persuade my friends to participate in with me. I am a regular at every local Mexican restaurant and have been known to dive headfirst into fishbowl sized margaritas.

PHILOSOPHY

I basically try to wear a lot of different hats in life and experience as many different things as possible.

At this point I've only hosted, but I look foward to surfing this summer.

Interests

Mercilessly destroying 4th graders in competitive activities. Present conquests include, but are not limited to: Connect 4, Mancala, push-ups, multiplication facts, rock paper scissors, and most of all kickball.

I'm a big movie buff. Current favorites include: Dumb and Dumber, Dazed and Confused, Billy Madison, Forrest Gump, Office Space, Grandma's Boy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand. Considered the greatest 1-day hike in NZ.
