About Me

Hello! I'm a student from Malaysia and I'm currently studying aerospace engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. I've been living here for about a year, so I'd say that I've gotten to know this city pretty well! I'll be studying in France this spring though, so I probably won't be here until the fall of 2018.

I love food, travel, and photography, and anything related to space exploration makes me go crazy. I want to be a rocket scientist, and if it's not too far-fetched, I dream of one day becoming a space traveller. I believe that humanity is destined for great things, and becoming a spacefaring civilization is a natural step in our progress as a species. But before that, I would like to experience everything that our Blue Marble has to offer, and that is why I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are 2 big things on my bucket list: 1) see the world and 2) see the world from space. The second one seems a little ambitious, so I shall focus on the first one for now :)

As a student, traveling on a budget can be a real pain in the butt. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to be able to see the world without costing an arm and a leg, meeting new people, making new friends, and building great relationships in the process. The more people you know, the smaller the world gets!

I'm currently living in university housing, so I don't think I'll be able to host overnight guests. But someday when I have my own place, I'll definitely open my doors to the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral was one of my most sublime experiences. Seeing the ignition and gradual ascent of the rocket into the night sky before being hit by the thunderous roar of its engines nearly half a minute later was absolutely mind-blowing.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you’re interested, I can teach you how to cook some Malaysian cuisine. Also, I can show you how to play Kerbal Space Program :)

I’m always up for learning something new, so don’t hold back!

I can share my life stories and experiences at the places I’ve been to, and also what it’s like living in Malaysia.
