ABOUT ME

****************PLEASE NOTE****************

We just tried to get verified but they send a post card with a code to your home address (which is in Australia) and since we are currently in Mexico and wont be home in Oz until June I am unable to complete verification I have however rounded up some travelling companions that can vouch we are kind human beings who wont burn your house down or anything drastic like that :)

****************PLEASE NOTE****************

I am 29 , a designer and travelling with my man friend (Ben) who is 30 and a architect knee deep in a masters in sustainable design. We have been travelling around the world since June 2011, started in spain, made our way through europe for the summer, followed by turkey, then worked on an organic farm in portugal for a month, finally made it to Chile and headed north up through Bolivia and into Peru - we are now in Mexico and soon to be heading to the states! We have met some amazing people through our travels from all corners of the globe and are looking fwd to meeting many more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

no professional experience to speak of but I have slept on many a friends couch and our couch/air mattress has always been open to friends, family and aimless wanderers alike. A friend couch surfed LA to Mexico and recommended we sign up before we get to america. On all accounts it appears to be most awesome and I look fwd to getting home (finding a place to live) and opening up said place to travellers far and wide.

Interests

We love to travel, cook, go to art galleries, explore new cities, hang out with friends, go camping in the bush, anything to do with the ocean - surfing, snorkelling, kayaking etc. We both love to draw, paint, write, take photos and design. Aside from our own businesses we have a joint design firm called Architect meets Designer so a lot of our time, love and energy goes into that.
