ABOUT ME
Ah I am not very good at writing things like this. But here it is...I'm 21 and am currently spending a year in Europe, partly for exchange and partly for fun and travel. I enjoy a good night out, a good night in, a good afternoon at the park, a good cup of tea and a good book, a good festival, a good record, a good sleep in, a good run around (though I have not been doing a lot of that lately) and good fun. Oh and good people.
PHILOSOPHY
Be good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only just joined couchsurfing, though I want to get involved as much as I can. I am currently living in Germany and can host people there, and would like to surf around Europe. Once I go back to Australia I would love to host more surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
to come!
Interests
Travelling (obviously), people, photography, music. I love to get a bit crafty, and occassionally do some knitting or sewing.
I have learned a bit about sustainabile development and inequality within cities, it is something I am really interested in and I hope to find work relating to this in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment I am reading 101 Rekjavik and Sophie's World. I love books about foreign places, books that are written in an unusual way or that I can relate to. One of my favourite books is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.
I love indie, folk, singer/songwriters and a lot of Australian bands. Some of my favourites are Sigur Ros, Joanna Newsom, Laura Marling, The Middle East (an Australian band, not the place!), Andrew Bird, Beirut, Bon Iver and Holly Throsby. I will listen to most things...except electro, try as I might I just cannot get into it!
I absolutely love 30 rock, black books and the office. I hate romantic comedies and movies that are manufactured without any creativity or insight.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year seems to be full of surprises. I am living away from home for the first time, travelling to a different place every month and seem to be learning more about myself, as well as the world, with every adventure.
