Apart from this, I'm house-trained (yep, pretty proud of this). I love music, art, photography, more music, beer and music, also just beer, meeting new people, culture, food, a lot of food - ah, I also love to cook, bake and share some German recipes (just saying).

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

There's this German word - 'Fernweh' - sadly there's no English translation, but it has been part of my life ever since I can think back. It can be described as the opposite of homesickness; it's this wanting and even the poetic pain of wanting to go away so badly. Wanting to be far from home. And that's exactly my issue; I want to travel and travel and see more and get to know more. This never ending Fernweh.
But why just sitting in a hotel? Following a standard tourist guide? If there's the option to meet locals, to basically dive into the real culture of a country. Even if it's just one night - one night being part of it.
