About Me

Namaste, my name is Sophie and I hate writing things that make me talk about myself haha. Let's see, the most accurate description of me is that I am an ambivert. I love solitude, staying in to bond with my dog and reading books, but I also love to meet new people, socialize very easily and love to bask in all that life has to offer. Once in a while I like to go out dancing, but most of the time I enjoy being out in nature. I am on a search for purpose, under the impression that it changes and it is not a fixed idea. All in all, I am a beer lover, deep talker, beach bum yogi who needs very little to be happy.

The quote that I live by is "life is like sea foam, so you must give yourself away like the sea".

Note: For safety purposes, if you are a man and have no references please do not offer to host me or to meet up because I will not be accepting, it is nothing personal, just watching out for myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a budget traveler for sure. I love local experiences and really getting to know different cultures and way of life. I don't vacation per say, I like to travel modestly and use the location as a learning experience, therefore couchsurfing is perfect for both of my travel goals.

I am doing this now for the first time and am open to meeting up, being hosted and also hosting once I get back home (June 28th).
