HI, I am an 20 year old student at university. I love to travel and get to know new people and discover new places and learn about cultures.
I love Sociology and the human sciences. I peak English and German fluently and have a lot of friend around the world through my travels.

I am not a very complicated person, and love to get to know new things and see how people do things differently in different parts of the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hate it when people just book a hotel in a country and spend the whole time at the pool. I love to travel and see sights, but also get to know the people of a country, their culture and their living. I love to discover, and not just spend my time at a hotel. I think couch surfing is the right for that, because I would be able to get to know a wonderful host, and the people of wherever I am.

Interests

I love music and traveling. I have trouble to shut up with a little hum when I am happy. I am still very young but have been fortunate enough to already see quite a bit of the world, but it's not enough for me yet.
I am also a huge Sociology fan and love to learn about humans, their interactions and what drives them.

Music, Movies, and Books

With music I just like to listen to playlists on spottify depending on my mood, so basically I am find with whatever. I have not a lot specific bands I like, but I care about Indy music mostly.
I am a total movie and series junkie. I have seen basically everything out there, from Orange is the New Black to Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, but also Sherlock and scandal. I could write a 50 page list of movies and shows I love, but that would still not be enough. I love them all, while still sometimes coming back to my childhood love with the Harry Potter series.
For reading I am interested in life stories. At the moment I am reading the autobiography of MALCOLM X, which I find very interesting, and next I already have book by the Dalai Lama, about his viewpoint on improving humanity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously decided to go and book a last minute flight to Asia, without any plan or program. Just a few weeks of adventure and whatever, which has to be filled now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that I am repeating myself, but I am kind of a travel and culture junkie, and would love to exchange and learn from new cultures. I want to learn languages and see what other cultures do to handle life.
