About Me

My Name is Sophia, I'm 21 years old and live in Germany. Last year I moved out from home, to start my apprenticeship in eventmanagement.
Now I live in a small town near Bonn (Nordrhein-Westphalen), together with my female roommate.
Twice a week I go to school to learn all the theory stuff I need for my apprenticeship.

On the weekends I mostly visit my boyfriend in Duisburg or my family and friends who live in Rheinland-Pfalz.

It's a very busy life but it's mine and I try to enjoy it as much as possible.
You'll never get back the moments that pass by, even if you really try to hold on.
Live is too short to waste any minute of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absoultely love traveling, see the world, new countries, new people, new life styles.
The best possbility to really get to know a country, it's culture and it's people, is to stay with the locals, experience their way of life and their way of thinking.

And btw another good side effect of it is, that it's cheap(er) :p

I love to have the opportunity of couchsurfing, rather than staying in a boring and expensive hotel, where nobody really talks to each other.

Go out, experience, live and laugh and become friends: that's what couchsurfing allowes us and I want to take this chance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2013 I travelled to Australia to work there as an Au Pair fpor six months.

This journey was the best thing that happened to me yet. I met a wonderful family, wonderful new people, I did heaps of excting activities (water ski, holding a coala, trip to Brisbane, the Dirt'n'Dust-thriatlon and much more) - at least I found a second home on this big, colorfull planet.

This was the best experience for me so far.
