Overview
About Me
I am a recent college graduate from the University of Iowa. I got my B.B.A. with a focus in marketing there as well as a Certificate of Sustainability and a Minor in Dance. Currently, I am traveling for five months to Iceland, Norway, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii with my friend Peder. During our trip we are working on organic farms through WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). While we are working and traveling we will also be filming a documentary about organic farming, sustainability, and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I mostly appreciate indie, alternative, and folk but am very interested in many other types of music as well. A few of my favorite bands lately are Whitney, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Car Seat Headrest, and Sufjan Stevens. I'm a big fan of seeing live music in new places.
MOVIES: A few of my favorites are Fight Club, Princess Mononoke, and Serenity.
BOOKS: I enjoy a wide variety of books. Lately I've been reading a lot about farming, food, and sustainability.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once backpacked down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and met a grandfather who had hiked the Grand Canyon 30+ times camping with his grandson.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in learning more about different food and farming cultures around the world. Cooking and sharing a meal with others is something I enjoy a lot.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories, recipes, podcasts, and good company. I especially love to cook and would enjoy cooking together.
