Let me introduce myself, im Sophia. Born and raise in and around Cleveland, Ohio. When I graduated high school I wanted to go off and travel to get a bigger broader taste of the world and the places around me. I WEOOFed ( world wide oppurtunites on organic farms) on a few farms within the past year. One in Califorina and the other one was in Arizona, both for an extended period of time. So much was learned and experienced and lovely people have come into my life because of it. Now I am strictly traveling and seeing where it takes me on this gap year. So far i've made it to a few different countries and moving deeper into Europe. I love to meet the people of the places i'm visiting and really get the lay of the land.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing for me is a convient way to meet locals (cool interesting people), learn more about a city through different eyes ( less touristy stuff) and have a safe place to reside in for a night or two.

Interests

I love keeping a healthy fit body w/ yoga, other various exercise, biking, and eating in an organic wholesome way, really just staying active and alive. Checking out different parks and what they have to offer&Being with people that make me laugh and reciprocating that is always a fun time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but classic vinyl rock n roll really steals my heart. Some bands that I love are the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Donovan, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Modest Mouse, Jefferson Starship, Led Zeplin, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Temptations, Isely Brothers, Elliot Smith, Mazzy Star. These are just some but I really enjoy just chillin, jamin and hanging out having a grand ol' time. I do also like to read, mostly non-fiction books about relative things that can help me with my life like yoga books ect ect.. But I also do enjoy fiction novels and poetry.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn more about my guitar and all the little things about it, technicality and stuff like that because I just taught myself so I can make lovely noises but don't have consistency because of my background in it. But I continue to practice and get better. I'd love t share my service as a yoga instructor and learn as much as I can about different styles as well.
