About Me
Past:
Worked in Thailand right upon graduation before moving back to Malaysia three years later. Was being young and so eager to explore the opportunities that made me taking up this job offer. Did not have an exact clue the upcoming obstacles to face but only knew I needed to be safe, happy and to gain much as I could from my job. Had struggled a bit with the foreign language in a foreign country but nevertheless had met many good and interesting people along the way. Hey, what is life without the ups and downs? I could not be better without them.
Present/Future:
Started a new chapter of life with the loved one in a new country, Germany. I am very grateful to good for the countless blessings received each day, for the abundant love and strength I get from family, my love and close friends. I would like know myself better by exploring new challenges, interests, meeting new people. Scared of swimming but aim to overcome the fear by 2016!!! Also scared of height, but not sure whether to try out wind surfing or bungee jump someday, perhaps? Also eager to improve my dancing skills, especially Swing.
Love travelling as backpacker, enjoy sitting on the beach and watching the sunset, keen to learn and immersing myself into the local culture of places of travel, visiting the local markets is a must, and luxurious travel is a no-no. Hoping to visit more places!
In general, I am not complicated. Just give me a chance to know you too 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was firstly introduced about couch surfing by my love, Martin. Had my first couch surfing in Singapore during the New Year of 2015, also together with him. The people who hosted us was super nice! Then had next couch surfing experience in Amsterdam and Brussels also. Did not have much yet at the moment.
I think couch surfing is a good means where people meet and make new friends, and sometimes, could even nurture to a lifetime friendship. It is all about sharing & giving and trust. I admit sometimes, I am shy and do not open up easily to new people, so couch surfing and hosting others would definitely be a new experience which I am looking forward to having more.
Interests
Like listening to live music in nice bars, liking slow rock music as well. Enjoy outdoor activities and trying out good food. Enjoy spending as much time as possible with family, my love and friends.
Also, sometimes, just love lazing and relaxing on the favourite couch at home by simply doing nothing...
Strolling along nice sandy beach, hugging & holding hands with my love, reading nice book under the shade, lying in a hammock, sharing stories and laughter with family and friends, enjoying the companion of besties are simply happiness.
Loving to play the piano (whenever there is one around ;)
Hoping to travel more places in Europe!

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch all kinds of movie, but not very much into sci-fi genre movie. Inspired by movies such as "Pursuit of Happiness" , "Eat Love Pray" , "Larry Crowne" , "Cast Away", especially those related to real life stories.
Like to read magazines and romance novels. And music is part of me, I am into different kinds of music depending on the mood and ambient.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have not done one big amazing thing in life but the many small things which I have done to others were volunteering in teaching English to friends in Thailand, helping out in a health awareness campaign in a rural area in my hometown, clearing the aftermath of flood in Muara, Malaysia... I believe that small helps make a difference and that is what I would love to do more. And especially getting the smiles as return from the people I helped, and that is priceless. I could not justify what amazing things I have done but I remember those amazing things I received from others. Getting smiles from people in the train or on the street or on a busy morning could make up my day remarkably.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn cooking and baking more varieties of food. I can share with you some Chinese cooking as well. Would be happy to teach you Chinese or Malay, if you are interested. I hold strongly to the philosophy that success does not come rolling to ones, and I am someone who work on making it happen. Life is a journey and there is so much to reap. Do you think the same too?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am quite a chatty person and have lots to share but I may need time to open up. Yeah, admitting I am rather a shy person. And, I would love to share stories, true opinions, dreams and plans and anything under the sun or moon with you. Hoping to have a mutual and friendly sharing of interests and stories. That would be so much fun!
