About Me

Medical student enjoying the last bit of my gap year! I love to travel, hike, scuba dive, surf, rock climb, bake, and explore new cities.

I consider myself open minded, somewhat decently travelled, active, fun-loving and an outgoing person. Big into meeting new people, learning new languages, and experiencing new cultures. Fully vaccinated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I’ve recently been spending 90% of my time studying, I love to travel whenever I have the chance, and perhaps my favorite part of traveling is the amazing people I meet along the way. Couchsurfing has proved to be a wonderful way to connect with awesome people all around the globe, both by hosting and being hosted

Also, anyone who hosts me is more than welcome to come stay with me in New York City, it’s only fair :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to almost any genre but specifically will always love Latin music, hip hop, rnb, rap, and what I would call any “music with chill vibes”.

As far as movies, some of my favorites are Arrival, Interstellar and, you guessed it, Inception. Also a major fan of Brooklyn 99, the 100, and Cosmos, and anything from Studio Ghibli but am always open to new suggestions.

With books, I love the classics. Two of my favorites are Enders game and Fahrenheit 451.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Talk to me about global health work! I’m very passionate about increasing access to reliable healthcare and education for children with disabilities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to bake (just point me to where I can buy the ingredients and the rest is done), and can teach a bit of Spanish, French, or Georgian. I can show you how to make flower crowns, great smoothies, and paper bubbles.
I can also share my good mood, interest in new cultures, and genuine care for people :)
