Hello,
my name is Sophia and I am from Germany. Before I start studying medicine next year I'd like to travel as much as possible and get to know to a lot of inspired people from all over the world.

This is me - always smiling; open-minded; interested in a lot of things and other persons, their thoughts and types of life; very motivated; always ready for any crazy ideas; spiritual; like to talk and to laugh; having a lot of love to live and to experiment; full of energy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are many reasons why I love to use this page for me:

I love to travel around the world, to see other mentalities, cultures and lifestyles. But for this - to not only get to know to a city or a village, but also get to know to the background of a place - you need to meet people who are living there and to send a few days or weeks with them in ther life. When I am traveling I don't want to see only the touristic side of the city, I want to feel the town, I want to see your side of your town - the places you love, the things you'd like to do etc.

The next reason is that I need a lot of new inspiration in my life - new places, new thoughts, new mentalities, new discussion etc.

I also want to host people in the future and give them the possibility to get to know my futural town, join for a few data my life and being a new inspiration for them. But I can't do this now, because last month I had to quit my flat in Bremen for my traveling year and so I officially live at my parents house... But next year I will start to study in a new town and then my doors will be open for you! Because of that only if I have my next own home I will fill in the capture 'My home'.

I think the most important thing in life is to broaden one's horizon to be open-minded, tolerant and respectfull to all - and to reach this goal couchsurfing is for me the best thing! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to different kinds to music like reggae, hip hop and all types of electronic music like deep house, techno or goa etc. I love music and I love to move my whole body to the rythm of my soul.

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies, more documentaries, but perhaps you can show me some great movies I have to see before I will die. :D

Books: One year ago I just started to read, before I never was relaxed enough to sit a lot if ours just reading - it's because of my energy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Three weeks traveling with a friend by hitch hiking through Cornwall without a lot of money, our 1-person-tent what was not waterproofed at all, only one baguette a day and sometime no money for something on the bread and all this in the end of November - a really shit idea, but even though it was one of the best experience in my life to travel without a plan, a lot of good luck and always smile in my face.

- One year of working as a voluntary in a psychiatry and learn a lot about human behaviour and how our brain works

- And of course all of my theatre exchanges in countries like Spain, Poland, France and South Africa etc.
