About Me

Hi! My name is Sophia. I love being active and outdoors, even though I can also enjoy some relaxation now and then. I love swimming (preferably lakes and sea), hiking, doing sports (I don’t have a natural talent for many of them, but I still want to try them all out and hopefully get a little bit better each time I try), I am interested in art, I enjoy cooking (trying out some new dishes now and then), and I enjoy spending quality time with friends or making new acquaintances (I try even in supermarkets, but somehow not many people there are very interested in deep conversations about the beauty of a pot of honey, or the difference between a “jazz” apple and a “jonagold”).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite way of traveling is living like the locals do. I try to avoid crowded tourist spots. I prefer to visit friends, meet their friends, hang out together, hear from them what their favorite spots are and discover them together. My mission is succesful when I am traveling and some tourist asks me the way.
