About Me
Hello you!
I am driven by curiosity and the desire for a broad range of experiences trying to keep an open heart and eyes wide awake for the world around me. Mostly I prefer listening to other people more than talking myself for a long time. And even though I really enjoy discussing philosophy, thoughts, books and life in general the most precious knowledge for me is not the one intellectually known but the one internally felt.
What makes me feel happy and comfortable are bike trips, enjoying the beautiful lakes around my home, candles and tea as well as sitting at my window and watching the life flowing below me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my life I have experienced so much kindness through hitchhiking and spontaneous connections that I hope I will be able to give it back one day.
For me travelling is meeting yourself through changed surroundings and the eyes of other people. What will really give direction to you are not merely the sights you saw but the connections you made

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a big appreciation for Hermann Hesse and tend to get lost in a lot of books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was living for one year in an anthroposophic kibbutz in Israel (קיבוץ הרדוף) and worked there with people with disabilities. During this time I met the most inspiring people who truly affected me

What I Can Share with Hosts
"You give but little when you give of your possesions. It is only when you give of yourself that you truly give. For what are your possessions but things you keep and guard for fear you may need them tomorrow?"
Kahlil Gibran
