About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to escape winter 2011

ABOUT ME

So, I've recently made a big change in my life by moving to Berlin. Even though I've visited this city many times before, it's an entirely different experience actually living here. Still getting used to everything, which is both exciting and scary. Before deciding to move here, I wanted to live in a warm country and escape winter once and for all (Germany instead, I know, not the best place to escape freezing feet...). The only reason I don't dare is because of a strong dislike of snakes. The shape, movement and texture just freak me out. Apart from that the only other animals I strongly dislike are dolphins (traumatizing childhood story I might tell you over a beer sometime;))I have so many places I would yet love to travel to, what prevents me
from doing so is not my fear of snakes but the fact that I fall in love
with most places and suffer from severe holidayblues once I'm home. But I
could just blame those on the British weather. My most recent love is
Hvar island, Croatia.Anyway, I think this is enough me-related waffling for the time being. Anything else, just ask. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

People occasionaly crash on my sofa, and if they do I tend to cook for them and feed them alcoholic beverages. They all come back so I guess I do ok;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much I must admit. Gone to a few CS gatherings back in the UK, and got to meet some awesome people who were couchsurfing at friend's places at the time. I am looking forward to joining more gatherings in Berlin:)
