About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Japan!!!! Want to hike the Japanese wilderness, eat a lot, soak in onsen and meet wonderful humans.

ABOUT ME

I am a happy little munchkin who grew up on the Sunshine coast and Brisbane in Queensland. I have two streams of career that will hopefully combine one day; Festival operations and Ecology. Enjoying live music, art in it's many forms, festivals, sharing of culture and knowledge while having a good giggle are, in my opinion, the essential spices to life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ranges from jim jamusch to anchorman; Book flavours include the twisted like Bukowski, Henry Miller and Pushkin to science journals.

Music loves have few bounds, as long as it has been made with soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

En route back to Darwin from working in East Arnhem Land, immersed in the consistently burning land, a group of us camped for the night at a hot spring-fed creek. The night was cold and when the dawn came I slipped down to the water by myself and scrubbed all the red dust and black char clean away. The washing felt somehow ceremonial as I watched the golden sun hit the rising steam and transform the colours of paperbark trees all around me. This memory; the smells, colours and sound of bird calls represent a quintessential 'Australia' in my mind and makes me cry with love for such an old land full of so many stories.
