About Me
I haven't been everywhere - but it's on my list!
Hi everybody! My name is Sophia. I am half German, half Italian. I am currently living in Germany and doing an apprenticeship to become an European Secretary. I lived in Germany my whole life, except from a gap year that I did from 2013/2014 where I lived in Seattle, WA, USA. I had the chance to meet wonderful people on my trip and I also travelled a lot. Now when I am done with my apprenticeship I want to see the rest of the world!
I am very open minded, spiritous, adventurous, honest and happy. I actually try to make the best of everything and enjoy life :)
It would be nice if you'd take a look at my profile before sending me a request and please do not use those stupid copy/paste requests. I will answer to all requests as soon as I can. I would be pleased if you'd reply to my requests, no matter if positive or not. Thanks :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and continue with making friends from all over the world. I think CS is a great opportunity to learn and explore different cultures as well as countries and their locals. I also like to share travel experiences and give/get advice of different things to do/see in any place/country! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Actually I like every kind of Music (F. ex. Linkin Park, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Eminem, Ellie Goulding, Sia, Macklemore, Lady Gaga, Greenday). I am just not into classic music.
I like to watch movies, don't do it often though. I am more the kind of person who watches sitcoms like New Girl or Modern Family or documentaries. But if I do watch movies, it has to be comedy movies, However, this does not mean that I am superfical or something. I am not into action, horror, thriller, sci-fi and all that other stuff. And no, I never watched Harry Potter, the lord of the rings, Avatar, the hobbit or whatever all these famous ("must-see") movies are called. But yes I am still a normal Person :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Las Vegas Sky Jump" in 2014. Jumping off the 260m high Stratosphere is as amazing as it sounds :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I grew up between two cultures. The Italian and the German culture. I would love to show or tell you a lot about it. I also had the chance to get to know the American culture while living in Seattle for one year. And I loved it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Show them around Karlsruhe and show them what it has to offer, let them live the German/Italian culture, help them organising their stay in Germany (if needed) and so on.
But you should know that I am not very good at cooking. Just saying :D
