About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring outer and inner worlds, helping others, sharing laughter, enjoying serendipity, getting myself to beautiful places that expand my heart and teach me how much I don't know.
ABOUT ME
I'm a kind, loving, curious and independent person. I cherish quality companionship and alone time equally. I love to wake up in the morning, drink some tea and get myself in ocean or the sunshine. I'm about to embark on a big adventure through Central America and I know it's going to turn my life upside down in the best way and I'm ready! I like open communication, new ideas, belly laughs, quality nature time, learning new things, and always want to infuse my life with some more genuine fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have had some awesome experiences staying with really kind folks, and can't wait till I can accommodate some travelers myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've surfed in italy a few times, and in the US as well, and had only great experiences. I ended up on the back of a motorcycle flying through Tuscan sunflower fields, cooking breakfast for a bunch of college kids, tasting delicious homemade liqueur and dancing all night.
Interests
Dancing, on the stage and in the studio. Birth- empowering, supporting and educating women and their partners throughout their birth experience. Yoga. I love communing with nature- surfing or spending time in the ocean, rock climbing, or maybe a nice forest walk. Cooking good food, eating good food, good music, dance, ART, things that make me tingle, things that make me feel whole. Social justice. Spirituality. Intuition.

Music, Movies, and Books
Funk/soul, hip hop, Afro Beat, things I can dance to. Prince, D'Angelo, Al Green, Cat Stevens, James Blake, and the Pimps of Joytime are on rotation in my boom box.
Can't pick a favorite book, but I've got a library card so I can get all the fiction my heart desires.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and eat and share meals with hosts and travelers. I think breaking bread together is a fundamental way to get to know each other and begin sharing our stories and cultures. I'm open to everything and I have a lot to teach as well, once we get to talking :)
