About Me

I am a very calm and thoughtful person. But sometimes I like to do crazy things that are not peculiar to me. Sometimes it's difficult for me to find common topics for conversation, but at the same time I can pour out my whole soul to a stranger. I prefer fewer words and more action. I do not tolerate hypocrisy and sycophancy. I believe that in some situations silence means more than talking.
I have three dreams that I will one day in the nearest future fulfill: I will learn how to play the cello; I will travel to Hong Kong; I will jump with a parachute.
My heart is forever owned by Hamburg and Vilnius, my soul - to the region of the Frisian islands and the North Sea. In Munch's paintings, I see myself as in a reflection of a mirror. My blood is tomato juice :)
The Goya's dog is sinking.
If you deny the importance and fundamentality of the Black Square for the modern world (I'm not saying that you should like it and cause positive emotions), then just close my profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not in Couchsurfing to help you save money or you to help me. My house is not a free hostel or a hotel, neither is yours. I expect that we can make ourselves (both parts) a bit happier during your stay. I wish you'd leave with the feeling that it was worth coming. That is what CS means. To meet nice people, talk about our experiences, share interests and learn new things. Also this is not a dating site and marriage agency.

Interests

I studied Cultural heritage in Vilnius and currently going master degree in Diplomacy.
In my free time I go to the gym, meet with friends or attend cultural events. During the warm season, it's a perfect place to pamper around the old city. If there is an opportunity, I try to have time for traveling, both to close distances, and to distant ones.
But I spend a lot of time studying. The topic of my scientific work is my most important and most beloved interest. Also I work remotely at any time of day. Sometimes I can go to the office.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love psychologicaly heavy films, dramas, films about the 18th-19th centuries, films with a bad ending, where everyone dies, everything is bad and there is no hope. In general, if I roar/cry during the film, then the next three days I go around thinking, thinking about global and eternal things - it was a good film.
About music.. prefer blues, indi-rock, classiсal music, soul, jazz. During my teenage years I listened to speed metal, deathcore, etc. Now sometimes I can listen to a couple of songs, but I do not belong to this fanatically. (Text "quack-quack" in your request, if you read my profile) I do not have a favorite band or singer. I often do not even remember the name of a band or a song. In principle, it does not matter to me. What I liked - I save.
The only thing that drives me crazy (in a good way) is organ music and symphony orchestra concerts. I often visit them both in Vilnius. Sometimes I can just go into the church for service, to listen to the organ.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* During my studies, within the framework of one of the courses, I created and guided an excursion inside the pipe-organ. Guys, inside! Have you ever been inside of it?
* My most wonderful trip was on Heligoland.
* One day celebrating New Year in Turin right after a few hours new year started we randomly decided to go in Monte Carlo. In 30 minutes we were on the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty good cook. Mainly Eastern European cuisine, Slavic. We can cook dinner together.
For about two years I was engaged in private tutoring of Russian as a foreign language. If you have a desire, I can make a brief introduction into this topic.
If you speak German, then it's so cool. I would gladly practice with you a little. In general, I adore the German language so much and find it the most beautiful and passionate language in the world.

I would like to know:
- why do many people think that Belarus is а region of Russia?
- why people who love horse riding cannot stop talking about horses?
- why some people think others should host them for free and as in an hostel?
