Hi!

I am a traveller enthousiast, which all started when I was little and lived in the States. The adventures we went on made me experience the simple and happy life. Being outside, camping around and spending lots of time in nature with good company is all you really need. With that idea in mind, once I graduated high school, I decided to take the freedom that was finally given to me and do what I want to do...

Travel, getting outside in the open, not only outside of the little country I come from but also outside of my comfort zone.
The first step is always the hardest, but after that you come to realise how to adjust yourself to new things, people, places, languages, cultural behaviours...
So now it’s time to embark on a new adventure:
Costa Rica… and perhaps other countries in Central America.

You can say that it's a sort of experiment, this trip. A way to get to know myself more, what moves me and what excites me. An ongoing process, constantly learning and the best way doing so is also from others...
Therefor, if we get the chance to meet eachother along the way, I am happy to share with you what I have learned and also open to receive new perceptions about anything.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When traveling, most of the time I've stayed in hostels if I'm not volunteering somewhere. But I feel couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to get to know more about the place I am at, the culture and also to connect in a different way.

For me couchsurfing makes me feel as if I'm living the life the way the locals do. Only for a short while though, but enough to get a glimpse of how it actually is there rather than just being a tourist.

Hiking, reading, learning spanish, conversations about life, documentaries, playing the handpan or guitar, singing, cooking, photography, yoga, meditation, nature, doing small things to improve the environment, living simple but being happy and sharing this with others...

The past year I started playing the guitar and I fell in love with it. Sharing this with others and singing, creating together, really excites me. Also I love to create beautiful meals with diverse, seasonal produce.
Maybe you can tell me more about what the typical, local dishes are in the country and we can make them together..!

Also I'm always excited to enjoy a good sunrise or sunset.
