I'm Sophie! All the boring details are already covered so I'll get straight down to the good stuff.

I am a gregarious young woman and I love to laugh my way through life. I thrive on meeting new people, getting to know them and having fun with them. I try not to take myself too seriously and am comfortable in the company of most people.

I love social gatherings but I'm not what you'd call a party girl. I love the occasional spontaneous wild night but I'm happy with a pot of tea and some good conversation.

Right now my philosophy is to try to live in the present. I want to experience every moment as it happens and embrace whatever comes my way.

I love getting out into nature and breathing it all in. I'm a particular fan of hiking and Have a minor obsession with lakes!!! There's so many beautiful things that I'm yet to see and I want to see them all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am brand new to couchsurfing and I'm eager to see what it's all about.

It seems like a great way to meet new people that I would never get to meet otherwise! I'm looking forward to meeting my first host and immersing myself in the experience.

I will be incredibly grateful to anyone that hosts me! I will make every effort to show my gratitude by being a positive addition to your home. I'm a keen cook, I'd love to socialise with you outside of the home and will always be pleasant and respectful. If there's anything I'm able to do to show my appreciation I will.
