Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I heard about Couchsurfing is when I started to watch a youtube channel called "the Budgeteers", it's about three people who travel the world on a litmited budget. Their goal is to get to know the real deal, not only the touristic highlights of the country.

After that I travelled with a good friend to Indonesia and she had arranged a couchsurfing host for the first night. We really had a blast! We got to know the locals and she gave us some great tips and tricks for travelling the country.

That's when I was really convinced that this is the best way to travel and explore.
