Hey, I'm Sophie, 19 years old & I'm from the UK. I am determined to experience the diverse cultures of the world. Foods, music, morals, opinions and scenery. I want to see the magic that the world has to offer whilst I have the opportunity and meet new people I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to meet. There are billions of people on earth and isn't it a shame you can't impact on everyone's story? I'm passionate. I am polite and well mannered :) I have travelled around the UK and now I want to travel through Europe, eventually Asia and then to work abroad before extending my travel to across the globe. I am very friendly and outgoing, I LOVE food! I am very appreciative and I am really thankful to anyone kind enough to let me stay with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people from different countries and cultures. Also I am travelling on a budget and so couch surfing would be ideal! Couch surfing would also give me the opportunity to experience cities in a different perspective :)

Interests

I really enjoy running regularly. I love to go to new restaurants to eat. I like to read often, especially social sciences and I try to bake, although I can only make banana bread.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies widely. I'm happy to listen to all genres, but I love 90s/2000s pop and R&B, dance music of all eras, indie bands and rock too. My favourite childhood book Is Enid blyton the faraway tree and because of the magic of the story It probably still Is one of my favourites but an all time best is the Alchemist. I don't watch many movies, but dance movies are good, comedies are my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm really proud about the time that I flew a plane on my Birthday! It was beautiful to look at and it was crazy that I were in control! Otherwise it would be the charity runs I have taken part in, raising money for charities such as Alzheimer's disease, Macmillan and cancer research.
I have travelled a little, so far visiting Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Scotland and plenty planned soon!
