Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the Couchsurfing-philosophy :)! When I lived in Mexico I first got in contact with Couchsurfing in the pure need to get to know local people, to socialize :D I like Couchsurfing because of the "Vamos, vamos"-attitude -and there's always someone yelling "Vamos"! I already met really amazing people who were willing to help, treated me like family members/ friends, had great chats and I encountered a lot of help, love and hospidality. Everyone kind of leaves an impact :) - so I would like to give that back to you people by hosting you and/ or show you around my city :)

Interests

to travel... and my favorite kind of travel: wandering around and getting lost, observe a lot and take a genuine interest in details. I love languages! I'm always eager to learn at least a few conversation lines where I'm going. Latin ( Mexican) culture, eat good and new food, languages, discussions, deep talks but also stupid, crazy talks ;), getting to know different ways to live and think, watching series, listening to music and dance! ( Even though I'm bad in memorizing steps, but I like the emotion and energy a dance has)
, going to concerts and festivals, walk, walk, walk( I always like walking also with surfers ;) ), love being in the nature, mountains, to hike and swim, cycle, write (short stories), observe people and pigeons, having quiet moments! board games, the night, skiing, hang out with good friends having conversations and a beer, read, doing sports...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Changing constantly, I really like music, music always had a big impact on what I'm doing and as life situations and circumstances are changing also the music that accompanies me changes...I love going to concerts (especially small ones) and I always enjoy live music... and I'm a radio-listener ;) I listen to a bunch of spanish/ latin music like Jarabe de Palo, Natalia Lafourcade, Café Tacvba, Kevin Johansen, Perota Chingó etc. ... but in general I'm quite open for any kind of music (oldies, rock, hip hop, reggaeton, alternative, etc..).. And get easily addicted to music one shares

Movies/ TV Series: I'm rarely watching movies.. but I liked the german movie "Gegen die Wand" (by Fatih Akin) or American Beauty... as for TV shows my all-time-favorite is Six Feet Under, but I also loved the British TV show " Skins"! In general I like the Drama ;)

Books: The Secret History (by Donna Tartt), A Fine Balance (by Rohinton Mistry), Rumo and His Miraculous Adventures (by Walter Moers)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmm... I guess all the times I jumped into the cold water - to try something a different way, to change something, to challenge me despite the frustration that sometimes accompanies the jump ;)

I can give my couch and a sleepingbag. Show you the city. I can help you with your german or spanish and if you like give some tips about Europe and Mexico. I would like to learn about your country, your music and if I'm at your town taste a local beer! As for learning: I'm willing to improve my poor cooking skills ;)
