I love travelling (obviously), and had my first proper international experience working in Hong Kong when I was 18.

Since then I have been grounded in New Zealand for the past few years either studying or saving money working full time. My contract at work is finishing at the end of this year, so I'm thinking of taking the opportunity to cure my itchy feet and finally see the rest of the world- something I have dreamed of doing since childhood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see more of the world and have always thought couchsurfing seems like a fun way to do that.

After all, the best travel experiences are the ones where you end up crashing at the place of someone you just met and making new friends along the way :)

Love sci-fi and fantasy in general although its hard to pick a favourite. Also cheesy comic books are a guilty pleasure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once lowered into an abyss in Antarctica. It was pretty cool.

I love learning about new places, different cultures and pretty much everything people like to share with me.

I would also love to learn Chinese but get very shy when attempting to practice other languages.
