About Me

25 years old french girl, curious and spontaneous, quite social though I don't mind when it's silent.
Some of the things I love: languages, trains, books, smiles, my cat and my bicycle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first on couchsurfing 2010 as I was an exchange student in Sweden. I used it a lot to travel in Scandinavia and hosted some people in Stockholm.
Unfortunately my account disappeared with my former email adress.

I have the chance to live in a appartment in central Paris. I would like to open my door to travelers : everyone should meet my cat, he's the best.

Interests

Languages, linguistic, etymology.
Plants, trees and clouds (those in the sky).
Psychical diversity, unexplained phenomenons.
Gender studies. Interhuman relations.

Bouuuuh I don't really enjoy answering this question. I have a lot of interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC (in a chronological order):
From Classical music (Bach - passions; Mozart; Purcell), swedish progressive rock, mainstream rock, crazy french variety from the 80s, engaged french rap, electro-swing, "indietronica" (Odesza), to more broadly electronic music (Nicolas Jaar; Valentin Stip, Grimes, etc...)

Movies:
There are a few genres I don't like, as shallow american love comedies, action films conceived by, for and with (only) men, special-effects-showing-off-without-a-plot (ex: The tree of life, Terrence Malick), kungfu movies or cheap westerns (I DON'T mean Sergio Leone).
Some of my favorite directors:
Among french nouvelle vague : Truffaut, Rohmer, Demy, Godard, and further : Resnais, Desplechin (for Rois et Reine mainly), Kechiche, Maïwenn, etc.
Among american masters: Hitchcock, Kubrick, David Lynch, Brian de Palma, Wim Wenders, Wes Anderson.
Nordic anxiousness: Lukas Moodysson, Joachim Trier and Lars von Trier (also for the less wellknow serie The Kingdom), Ruben Östlund, Lisa Langseth, Thomas Vinterberg (Festen) and BERGMAN.
Not forgetting Yorgos Lanthimos, Milos Forman, Bunuel, Steve McQueen, Haneke and Ulrich Seidl, but maybe forgetting some other ones.

Favorite books : work in progress, coming soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer in Wien, it was so hot at night that I went bathing in a outdoor pool with some friends. We had to climb over the fences and we certainely knew that it was forbidden. The austrian police caught me and hold me at the station for some time. I did a nice drawing, gave it to the police officer and he let me go.

I've been doing intressant stuff all over and under Paris.

I saw a green northern light in Kiruna, Sweden, january 2011.

I've been travelling five weeks in Mexico without a cellphone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about funny or strange facts.
I really, really enjoy learning languages. There's no way I can do it alone : to learn about a language, about a culture or about life itself, I have to share - voilà.
