ABOUT ME

My name is Katerin and I am coming from a small cold European country called Estonia. I like snow and cold, storms, big waves and heavy rain.

I am not very outgoing, but I am adventurous and friendly and I like to meet new interesting people. And sometimes I can also be very talkative, when Im in the right mood:) I also like to listen to people and learn new things from their cultures or travels and their different ideas about the world.

I like being spontaneous and I like to try new things.

I enjoy both the city life and spending time in the nature. I like to go to a nice restaurant and eat some good food, but on the other hand I also enjoy hiking and different outdoor activities. Especially going to the sea and islands.

I like to do great things in life and be happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling and couchsurfing in Europe and if possible I also host people. Even if I can´t host, I like to meet people and take a cup of coffee or glass of beer together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met so many amazing people I wouldn´t have met any other way and very happy about it. I have also made some friends and we have met again even thought we are living in different countries.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

There are so many of them! I mostly like thrillers, comedies, romantic comedies, romantic dramas and historical dramas. I like Michael Nyman piano music and I listen a lot of Estonian music. I like also live music when going out. When I travel, local music would be especially great! Books? I like to learn new things so I dont read a lot fiction, but rather educational and travel literature.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have been climbing on the cliffs in Malta and I am afraid of hights (!). Going to live alone in Sweden and Norway. Going to India alone for 5 weeks.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you some Estonian language or some Estonian cooking. Also a lot about Estonia islands and travelling in Estonian nature. And about sailing and driving a motorboat maybe.

I would like to learn to cook your national dishes, but I am very much interested to learn anything new about your culture too! I am very curious.
