SOPHIE - I grew up in a small fishing town called Falmouth in Cornwall, UK. The best things about the county are the beautiful Cornish beaches, pasties and pirate accents! I truely think it's one of the most magical places on earth.

ADAM - I grew up on the beach body boarding and playing soccer with my 2 younger brothers. Sports and the outdoors (especially the water) is what really make me happy. Actually I love music and singing too however with a voice like mine, just the thought makes people shudder.

We like to have fun, meet new people and generally just enjoy life!

We first met in a hostel in Sydney 8 years ago and love travelling! We want to experience travelling like locals and pay back that same experience to others.

SOPHIE - I am a certified Reiki Master (still in practise) and would love to continue my journey of discovery whilst travelling.
I have been working in social services for almost 3 years, and just love to connect with people and their stories no matter what walk of life they have come from.

ADAM - I love the beach, to be specific a beach which has waves to surf. If no surf then snorkeling or SCUBA diving.
I have been putting a lot of time and effort into Low and Slow American Style BBQ. This is a labor of love cooking over wood for 8-12hrs. Sometimes I will start the fire at 3am so the food will be ready for dinner that night. A tough, cheap cut of meat turn into the most succulent and delicious smokey goodness.

MASSIVE MUSIC FANS!!
I love my lounge/chill-out music, dub and reggee. Artists like Thievery Corporation, Morcheeba, Bonobo, Massive Attack, Fat Freddy's drop, Erykah Badu and Indie Arie... but also into Electronic music and Indie Rock.

SOPHIE - I enjoy documentaries on real crime, prisons and social justice but also enjoy the lighter side of life with UK series and comedies along with the odd Disney movie!!

ADAM - Being married has had me become a bit of a corporate hippy. I'm not into the fancy lifestyle but understand what having money can bring. I love learning about how to make money work for me, the language of money and how to have this benefit my family, community and the world. Rich Dad Poor Day, The Cashflow Quadrant both by Robert Kiyosaki and More Wealth Through Investment Properties by Jan Sommers are worth a read.

Some of my most memorable parts of movies are in Dead Poets Society, Wag the Dog and Dude Wheres My Car. Oh and I am a sucker for crying and worse laughing at inappropriate times. Oops

Books aren't really my thing as much as I try (travelling may soon change this) when I do read, I enjoy self development books, novels and books on psychology and human behaviours.

SOPHIE - Moved to the other side of the world for this Australian guy I fell in love with (I know call him my husband)!
I travelled alone to Australia at 21 in search of who knows what, and 2 days later the who knows what appeared in front of me. Let's say the trip turned out pretty good.

ADAM - Swam with Whale Sharks

SOPHIE - Well I can't really juggle, or do really cool yoga tricks or even speak another language.... but I am willing to learn from you if there's anything cool you can do!

ADAM - Laughter and food. Eating without humour is like drinking without getting drunk. Food should be enjoyed with great company and laughter brings people together even more.
