About Me

I am an easy going gal who comes from Australia. I come from a small town on the East Coast of Australia. I am so lucky to be able to call where I live home. I have travelled a lot in my 25 years on this earth and I am so grateful to have been able too. I have studied at University, and worked in the tourism industry most of my life. I love music, the outdoors and am always down for a good meal, wine and a chat.

A few random facts about me: I am the eldest of 3, I'm a taurus, love mexican food and red wine, I can sing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet new and exciting people. Hanging/staying with the locals gives you a behind the scenes view at a place and it ends up being the best reason you went to visit there. It makes your travel experience much more enriching. You make friends for life.

Whilst I have hosted before, I live in a camping ground (my parents run the place!) and am always surrounded by lots of different exciting people. I am looking to be hosted by some cool people who can offer me a couch. I am a good cook, talker and cleaner. And am happy to help out with anything I can!

Interests

Being outdoors, and getting into nature is my way to chill out, and breathe in the air. If I am outdoors, I love to surf. The ocean is my place to hang! Having grown up on the beach, I have become obsessed with water activities, and love to try new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Im a amateur musician, so if I am not playing music, I have music playing. All types of music. It is all good in its own respect. Im a avid reader, and will also always be reading a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in another country. It is so different to travelling, as you really emerse yourself in another country, language and culture. Its being taken out of your comfort zone under similar conditions, and asked to live in the same way you would at home, but rather speak a different language and gauge a totally different culture. Its a very cool experience I recommend to anyone that has the opportunity.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling is an amazing experience where you learn, teach and share so many experiences, conversations, cultures and ideas. It is such a great way to learn for yourself, but also for every one else around you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an open mind, and am very easy to make conversation with. I love to sit down and have good conversation to people, and get to know them. I love sharing lots of laughs, smiles and fun times with my hosts. Wether it be over a beer, a walk around the local area or just relaxing at home.
