Overview
About Me
My name is Sophie, I am a spontaneous, deep, open minded person who loves travelling and having deep conversations with people.
2016/17 I went for one year to the Philippines and was working there for an NGO that is fighting for the rights of street children. I was working in a shelter to take care of the children and was half of the time working at rice fields, that was incredible experience.
Afterwards I was travelling for a year and walked the Camino del norte in Spain, a hiking way about 800km long to Santiago de Compostella. I was one of the best decisions in my life because I met so many amazing people there!
Currently I am living in the Netherlands and study Psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took part in a student exchange programme a few years ago and went for two weeks to India. There we vaccinated children from slum areas, who couldn't get reached by the governmental health care programme. It was a really impressive experience and I am glad my school offered such exchange programmes. It brought me to travel more and my desire to travel the world started.
