About Me

If you want to be hosted please read the “My home” section carefully! (:

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to find something that remotely looks like normal life, after an incredible trip of 2 years around the world, hitch-hiking & camping.

ABOUT ME

We are a calm couple who enjoy our tranquil life at home, maybe because we lived enough adventures and emotions in the past couple years to last us a hundred lifetimes. We just came back from a trip that lasted 2 years. We went around the world, through roughly 20 countries. We hitch-hiked and camped, mainly, and we also did some dumpster diving to find something to eat. It was indeed a fascinating/crazy/incredible/fun/sad/hard/wonderful experience and we will be happy to share a few stories with you. We are right now saving up money to buy a piece of land and start our very own sustainable farm to be self-sufficient as much as possible.

Our favorite nights are the ones with some good friends, a beer, and passionate conversations til the morning! We don't really go out much, mainly because we are trying to save some money, but also because we have great beer at home and it's less crowded and less noisy.

We are really open-minded. We really like adventures, new stuff, new habits, new cultures. We love to discover.

We are the kind of person who wants to live the life at it's fullest, and who is driven by a ton of passions and ideals.
We want to know everything, to learn everything, to experience everything, to taste everything. We are hungry for life!

PHILOSOPHY

We must keep ourselves close to everything true in life, such as good food, good friends, good beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We used Couchsurfing a lot in the past, both for hosting and surfing and we thought it was a wonderful tool to discover cultures and great people. We tried to use it again in our world tour but we found the experience deceiving, because it seems like the philosophy is gone from Couchsurfing since they are all about money and stuff. We still were really lucky and many MANY people helped us around the world so now we are hosting to try to give back a little bit of what the universe offered us.
